A Como-based company specializing in the production of gloves, it boasts a history of style and business that began at the end of the 19th century in Naples  when the founder, Fortunato Portolano, creates the leather goods and gloves sector.
In the 40s one of his sons moved to Milan to manage exports and at the end of the 70s he founded the Alpo company with production in Inverago.
The flagship product is the glove which is offered in all possible lengths and variants using a wide range of leathers, such as nappa, deer, sheepskin, various eco-sustainable yarns and fabrics, only ecological fur is used.
The brand, in addition to the care of Italian craftsmanship, can count on partnerships with the most important fashion houses with which it creates exclusive accessories.
